The University of New Mexico will hold its annual Alumni Veterans Day Celebration and Remembrance on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 10 a.m. The event will take place in the UNM Alumni Memorial Chapel on campus.
This year’s ceremony will include remarks from UNM President Garnett S. Stokes and a keynote address by Colonel Jim R. Keene, U.S. Army (Ret.). Keene is a graduate of UNM and has served in the military for over thirty years.
The celebration is open to the public at no cost. Organizers encourage community members to attend as a way to honor veterans connected to the university.
