The City of Las Cruces is inviting artists to participate in the Art Stop 2026, a rotating art exhibit that will be displayed at bus shelters across the city. This initiative, organized by the Quality of Life Department/Public Art and the City Art Board, aims to showcase local talent along city bus routes.

Artists residing in Las Cruces, Doña Ana County, and nearby areas are eligible to submit their work for consideration. Six original pieces will be chosen, with one artwork featured per artist. These selected works will be printed and installed on bus shelters within each City Council district.

Submissions can be made through Call for Entry (CaFÉ), with the deadline set for midnight on November 2, 2025. More details and submission guidelines are available at LasCruces.gov/ArtStop.

For further inquiries, Ceci Vasconcellos, Public Art Coordinator, can be contacted at (575)541-2780/TTY 711 or via email at CVasconcellos@LasCruces.gov.
