The Aging and Long Term Services Department (ALTSD) has launched an updated website aimed at providing a cleaner layout, easier navigation, and improved accessibility. The initiative seeks to assist older adults, caregivers, and New Mexicans with disabilities in connecting with essential services.
"Our website is often the first connection people have to our department and the vital services that so many rely on," said Emily Kaltenbach, ALTSD Cabinet Secretary. "We designed this new site to reflect our commitment to accessibility, clarity and compassion, so that every New Mexican can find the information and support they need."
Key improvements of the revamped site include simplified menus for quicker service access, enhanced mobile compatibility for smartphones and tablets, improved features supporting screen readers and multilingual users, as well as streamlined program pages for core services like Adult Protective Services, the Aging and Disability Resource Center, and New MexiCare.
The website refresh is part of ALTSD's broader efforts to modernize its communications and digital services. This modernization ensures that all New Mexicans can confidently access important information.
