ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

The Native American Rights Fund (NARF) and the Western States Water Council (WSWC) are set to host a virtual symposium on August 6, 2025. This event will focus on the settlement of Indian reserved water rights claims. The symposium has been held biennially since 1991, providing a platform for discussion among Tribal Nations, State governments, the Federal government, and other stakeholders.

"We expect another excellent conference and opportunity for collaborative engagement and education," stated organizers from WSWC and NARF. They have organized successful symposia over the years. The agenda will feature presenters involved in negotiated settlements from various governmental levels and interest groups. Continuing Legal Education Credit will be available for attending lawyers.
