New Mexico Game and Fish schedules meetings on non-resident shed hunter license

The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish has announced two public meetings to discuss the proposed non-resident shed hunter license. The meetings aim to gather public input on the proposal.

The first meeting is scheduled for July 17, 2025, at 6 p.m. in Albuquerque. It will be held at 7816 Alamo Rd. NW, with an option to attend virtually by registering in advance. The second meeting will take place on July 24, 2025, at 6 p.m. in Las Cruces at 2715 Northrise Drive, also offering a virtual attendance option with prior registration.
