Bernalillo County is hosting the 2025 Youth Job Fair, a free event aimed at connecting young job seekers with potential employers. The fair will take place on Saturday, March 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South Valley Multipurpose Senior Center located at 2008 Larrazolo Road SW.

The event is organized in collaboration with the New Mexico Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) and targets high school students and young adults seeking part-time, summer, or entry-level employment opportunities.

Attendees will have the chance to meet local employers offering youth-friendly positions. Additionally, they can receive assistance with job applications on-site and participate in one-on-one sessions with human resources professionals. Expert help will also be available for resume writing and interview preparation. Furthermore, attendees can connect with DVR for additional employment support services.

“Young job seekers will get face-to-face time with employers, access to hands-on career resources, and a chance to sharpen their job search skills,” said Human Resources Director Bernadette Perez. “We encourage all interested youth to take advantage of this opportunity to start building their careers.”

Participants are advised to bring copies of their resumes.
