CSVANW joins Albuquerque commission on domestic violence and sexual assault

Tiffany Jiron has been appointed to the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Commission for the City of Albuquerque. In response to her appointment, she stated, "I am honored and humbled to serve on the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Commission for the City of Albuquerque. This is an important opportunity to amplify the voices of Native women, children, and families who are often left out of critical conversations on safety and justice."

Jiron emphasized the importance of inclusive responses to domestic violence and sexual assault. "Our work at CSVANW is rooted in the belief that every person, regardless of their background, deserves to live free from violence and fear," she said. She also expressed commitment to ensuring representation for Native communities.
