The Fidelity Scholars Program is actively seeking individuals to assist in reviewing scholarship applications. This initiative aims to empower students from communities that are underrepresented and lack resources.
Officials have stated that the program is looking for candidates who have experience in evaluating college or scholarship applications and possess a strong interest in making higher education more accessible.
Key dates for those interested in becoming application readers include a virtual pre-read orientation scheduled for mid to late January, with the exact date yet to be determined. The in-person reading session will take place from February 20-24 in Washington, D.C.
Selected readers will receive $700 as compensation. Additionally, hotel accommodations, travel expenses, meals, and ground transportation will be provided by UNCF, which administers the Fidelity Scholars Program.
Interested applicants must complete the necessary form by January 7 to be considered for this role. Student applications for the scholarship program are due on January 30 at 11:59 pm ET.
