Obituary
James Eugene Uhl, 84, a resident of New Mexico for over 70 years, died Friday, April 7, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Sandy Rhoades Uhl; two sons, Chris Uhl (Susan) and James Uhl; daughter, Lisa Uhl Potter (Tom); siblings, Mike Uhl (Beverly), Teena Waylett, Rob Widup (Susan), Cris Creswell, Doug Plunkett (Sharlyn), Mark Plunkett (Bridget), Joan Legleiter (Floyd), and Annie Plunkett; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; cousins, nieces, and nephews; and three fur babies.
James was a member of First Baptist Church in Rio Rancho. He served the Lord throughout his life. He worked at Sandia National Labs over 41 years. Jim and his wife enjoyed RVing with several friends.
Services will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2023, 11:00 a.m., at First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho, 3906 19th Ave. SE, Rio Rancho, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
