Obituary

Our beloved father, partner, brother, friend Henry R. Sedillo, 56, went to be with the Lord on Holy Thursday, April 6, 2023 surrounded by family..

Henry was preceded in death by his mother, Estella Sedillo; grandparents, Joe and Candelaria Trujillo, Leo and Manolita Sedillo; and nephew, Christopher Hampsten.

Henry is survived by his significant other, Deanna Luna (D-Cup) aka “his better half”; father Henry M. Sedillo; daughters: Rachael Montoya (Martin), Rebecca Sedillo (Joseph Flores), Renee Acosta (Joseph); sisters: Bernadette Hampsten, Terrie Dominguez (Mike); grandchildren: Stella, Lorenzo, Mya, Jordynn, JoJo and Malani; nieces: Sabrina Hampsten, Reyanne Nally; extended family: Carmen Luna, Luke Chavez and Denae Calderon, Andrew Chavez and Nicole Vigil, Joseph Luna, Philip and Felicia Luna, Paula and Jesse Sedillo; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Henry was a loving father to three daughters and loved his grandchildren who were his pride and joy  and a loving partner to Dee.  He would never let us forget about their brother Elvis, his bulldog.  He loved bbqing, watching football, hosting holidays and any celebration to have them and friends over. He called them every day, just to say Hi! Henry was a great friend to everyone. He could fix anything. He loved camping, going to the lake and anything that involved spending time with family and friends. He spent his life dedicated to his trade, and was part of the Local 412, Plumbers and Pipefitters Union since 1995. He worked hard (which is an understatement), and played harder! Like his work ethic he was a die hard, dedicated, loyal, Rams fan, it did not matter what city they moved to or if they were winning or losing, he cheered them on!!

Henry's life celebration will begin with a rosary to be recited on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW 87102. Mass will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Shrine of the Little Flower St. Therese of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church located at 3424 Forth St NW, 87107. Henry will be laid to rest following mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102.

Pallbearers will be Martin Montoya, Leroy Jaramillo, Mike Dominguez, Joseph Acosta

Honorary Pallbearers will be Joseph Flores, Luke Chavez, Andrew Chavez, Robert Baca, David Montoya, Michael Archuleta.
