Obituary

We are sad to announce the passing of Frances Margarita Cruz of Albuquerque, born in Taos, NM. She left this world for eternal life on Monday, February 20th, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Emelio Cruz; brothers, Pat Mondragon and Manuel Mondragon; and parents, Jose and Lucilla Mondragon. She survived by five children, Theresa Wiley, Amy Baca, Donna Cruz, Ralph Cruz, and Joe Cruz; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four siblings, Fred Mondragon, Arturo Mondragon and Susan Blea; her friends, and extended family.

Frances was a selfless, caring, loving, and generous woman who will be greatly missed. She was a devoted catholic and a dedicated mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed and remembered forever in our hearts.

Mom, "we will love you forever and ever and always."

The Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 9:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 10:15 a.m., at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd NW. Burial will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
