Leon Wallace Ward, affectionately know to his childhood acquaintances as "LW", was born April 7, 1939. He went home to be with the Lord on January 8, 2023.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Leon Ward and Nettie Mae Ward, his brothers Lee Earl Ward and Gene Leartis Ward, son Ronald Derrick Ward.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years Hilda Ward, two daughters Debbie Douglas(Kirk) and Liniese Ward, sister Florence Ward, brother Eli Ward, grand children Carlette Young(Jeff), Kirk Douglas Jr., Lacretia Stevenson(John), Iesha Odom(Terrence), Dion Douglas and countless grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held Saturday January 21, 2023 12:00 pm at Faith Temple Church of God 1000 Broadway Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102
A service to follow 1:00 pm at Faith Temple Church of God 1000 Broadway Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102
