Age 52, passed away Tuesday, December 06, 2022. She was born and raised in Las Vegas, NM. She had an associates in Cosmetology and was a Master Barber. She was an advocate for prisoners and received awards from the ACLU. Kelly was a loving mother and person. She enjoyed giving back to the community and spending time with her grandchildren. Kelly will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Sanchez Kimbrell; brother, Larry Joe “Joey” Sanchez.

Karen is survived by her significant other, Joe Chavez; father, John Kimbrell and wife, Mary Kimbrell; children, Beverly Payge Kimbrell, Elisha Eliza Maes; grandchildren, Mya Marie Kimbrell, JerRae RaeLyn Chavez; sister Yvonne “Cookie” Sanchez; nephews, Phillip Sanchez, Chris Martin, Paul Sanchez and wife, Stephanie; niece, Bobbielyn; two great nieces and two great nephews.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 3:00-4:00 pm with a Prayer service to follow at 4:00 pm.
