Eloisa Sanchez, age 101, lifelong resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on December 11, 2022. Mrs. Sanchez is survived by her grandchildren, Lloyd Chavez and wife, Debbie, Juan Carlos Chavez, and Eugene Chavez and wife, Stephanie, several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phil Sanchez and son, Artie Chavez. Visitation will be held at Church of the Ascension 2150 Raymac Rd. SW on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022, also at Church of the Ascension at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow the Mass at Los Padillas Cemetery, 2820 Los Padillas SW. Pallbearers will be, Nathaniel Chavez, Mykal Avila, Christian Chavez, Rick Chavez, Robert Chavez, and Jerry McMahon.
