Obituary
Aura Maria Rivera, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at the age of 94.
Aura was a member of the Catholic Church and a devout Christian. Aura is preceded in death by her parents Juan Valencia-Ferrare and RoseMaria Geraldo, her brother, and her husband, Albert C. Rivera a.k.a. Albert Rivera, Sr., the eldest son of Encarnacion Sanchez Rivera and Ignacita Cortez Rivera of 126 Ranch Tererro, New Mexico.
Aura was born Wednesday, December 21, 1927, in Pradera Columbia, South America.
Aura was honored with her United States of America Certificate of Naturalization for Citizenship on Monday, February 22, 1982. U.S District Court, Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Aura is survived by numerous nieces and nephews including her loving caretaker, favorite niece, Lela Flanery-Heineken of Belen, New Mexico.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Lomas, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE. A Funeral Service officiated by Deacon George Sandoval will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m.
Aura will be laid to rest alongside her dear husband at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe St, at 2:30 p.m.
