Aurora "Dora" Munoz age 90, born in Uvalde, Texas and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed on October 28, 2022 surrounded by her family. Aurora is survived by her husband of sixty-six years, Jesus "Jesse" Munoz, Jr.; daughter, Jessica Miera (Robert); daughter, Marisela Sanchez (William); grandchildren, Michael Richmond (Jenny), David Marquez, and Nicole Marquez.
Aurora was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who made a happy and loving home for her family. She was also a military spouse who supported her husband’s career and our nation.
She loved to dance, listen to music, enjoyed cooking for the family, and was an avid sports fan. Aurora had a magnetic personality and a lovable smile that brought joy to many hearts.
Visitation will be held at Santuario de San Martin de Porres, 8301 Camino San Martin SW, Albuquerque, NM, on Monday November 14, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 North Guadalupe Street, Santa Fe, on November 15, 2022 at 1pm. Pallbearers will be Robert Miera, William Sanchez, Michael Richmond, and David Marquez.
