Obituary
Francis Thaddeus Kieltyka passed away on October 4, 2022. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Lynne Kieltyka Reed, and by his wife of 62 years, Carole Boldish Kieltyka. He is survived by his children Barbara Kieltyka Schwallie (David), Joseph Kieltyka (Deborah), and Richard Kieltyka (Jennifer). He is also survived by grandchildren Daniel Schwallie (Amanda), Andrea Schwallie (Tyler), Sarah Kieltyka Dominguez (Nathan), Matthew Kieltyka, Rachel Kieltyka, Jacqueline Kieltyka, Mackenzie Kieltyka, and Jonathan Kieltyka, and great-grandchildren Filomena Dominguez and Abigail Schwallie.
Francis was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He earned a master's degree in Physics and served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He retired after 20 years of service and went on to a career with Los Alamos National Laboratories (LANL), specializing in computer security and VAX/VMS systems management. Francis took pride in his work with Digital Equipment Computer User's Society (DECUS), serving as chairman for the New Mexico chapter. He was an avid reader and history buff, and enjoyed watching football and baseball. He was a private person who was loved by his family and will be missed dearly.
A funeral service will be held at French Funeral Home (10500 Lomas Blvd. NE) on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 12:00pm, followed by a private burial.
