Obituary
On Friday, October 7, 2022, David Lovato, loving husband, and father of two children, passed away at the age of 42. David was born on September 1, 1980, in Albuquerque NM. He is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie Gonzales; two daughters, Sarina Lovato, and Jade Lovato; mother, Darlene Montoya; dad, David Lovato; sister, Erica and husband, Jordan Sandoval;nephews, Jordan Sandoval and Quentin Sharp; and nieces, Jazmine Lovato and Kiana Sandoval. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Patricia Gonzales; sister-in-law, Andrea Gonzales and husband, Justin Haynes; niece, Cheyenne Haynes; nephews, Jake Haynes, Garrit Haynes, and Casey Haynes; and many loving uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Charlene Lovato.
David had a passion for his family. He loved his wife, Stephanie and daughters deeply. He was one of his daughters' biggest supporters along with his wife, Stephanie. He supported his daughter, Sarina in all her dance adventures driving her and the family to all her recitals/competitions in state and out of state, as far as California and many Las Vegas, Nevada dance competitions. His Love of sports was intensified when his daughter, Jade excelled in women's basketball. He drove her and mom to all the games, in state and out of state tournaments. The last trip he took Jade and mamma to was to Indianapolis and Chicago this past summer. Many years of trips for dance and basketball for the love he had for his daughters to pursue their dreams.
David had a compassion and a love for people. The compassion he had is what made him excel at marketing for hospice for most of his career. Because of this compassion and love for people, he is survived by many good friends. His laugh was infectious, his quick wit, and heart of gold will always be remembered. He was always willing to help someone in need. He will be missed by his Loving family, and so many loving friends.
Rosary will be recited Thursday, October 20, 2022, 7:00 p.m., at FRENCH - University. A Prayer Service/Celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 21, 2022, 9:00 a.m., at FRENCH - University. Interment will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lonnie Hernandez, Justin Haynes, Fabian Olivas, David Lopez, Matt Gutierrez, Steve Martinez, and Jordan Sandoval.
