On October 7th, 2022, our loving mother and grandmother, Maria Jessie Garcia went to be with the Lord.
She is survived by her four children and granddaughter whom she helped raise. John and his wife Joanne, Lisa, Corinne, Bonnie and Melissa and her husband Al. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved her so dearly, Jose, Lea, Jessica, Ismael, Andrew Jr., Anthony and his fiancée, Amanda, Amber, Adrian, Mya, Mark, Brittany and Tiffany. Great grandchildren Alonzo, Valerie and Chance. Cousin Maryjane, her children Esther, Francine, Frank and many of their children whom my mom loved and meant a lot to her. It's the most difficult thing in the world to say goodbye to our mom and grandmother, so we find comfort in knowing our she is with The Lord and not suffering anymore. Our Mom was the most spiritual, strong, and inspiring woman we ever met.
She is preceded in death with many family members including her husband, John; her mother and father, Bennie and Epifaño; sister, Geraldine and many more. The family would like to thank Margarita and Rudy, Debbie and Connie for being such wonderful friends to our mom and helping us so much in this difficult time. And to Mike, Kathy and Father Chris for helping with the funeral services. We will forever love and miss our mom and grandmother so very much.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022, from 10:30 am-11:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 11:00 at Strong-Thorne Chapel, 1100 Coal Avenue SE. Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.To view information or leave a condolence please visit www.garciamortuary.com
