Obituary
Olga Abbo, age 87, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was called to her eternal resting place on Sunday, September 25, 2022. She was born on June 29, 1935, in Orense, Spain to Antonio Forneiro and Dolores Parga.
She was recently preceded in death by her husband, Sabah Abbo of 58 years. She is survived by her children, Tony Abbo (Rebecca) and Marina Abbo (Laith); grandchildren, Christopher Abbo (Allison Martinez), Sammy Yousif, Stephanie Yousif, John Patrick Abbo; and great-granddaughter, Autumn Abbo.
In 1964 she relocated to Baghdad, Iraq, with her husband where she raised her two children. She spent 29 years there before they immigrated to the United States.
In 1993 she immigrated to the United State of America with her husband, Sabah Abbo and made her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. From 1994 until her retirement in 2011, she worked at Ross Dress for Less.
Olga was very passionate about cooking, gardening, and keeping up with the news. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and loved to cook their favorite foods.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, October 3, 2022, beginning at 6:30 p.m., followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., FRENCH - Westside.
A Mass to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at 1:00 p.m., St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd NW in Albuquerque. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menial Blvd NE Albuquerque, New Mexico 87107.
