David Modesto Lucero, 71, of Santa Fe, NM, A dedicated servant of God, passed away on August 11th 2022.

David was born on June 2, 1951 to Gonzalo R and Celina M Lucero in Cordova, NM. David was a talented master wood carver like his dad.

Through the years, David enjoyed hunting, fishing, being a Royal Ranger Leader, and sharing the word of God. He loved his 3 daughters and his grandchildren.

David is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Liz Chacon and his brother Steve Lucero. He is survived by his daughters, Carmen Noble (Jason), Serenity Lucero (Alfred), and Sharon Espinoza; his brothers Rudy Martinez and Markie Martinez (Karen); his sisters Judy Lopez, Geraldine P Feind (Michael), Darlene Padilla (Rick); his 13 grandchildren, Andres, Mark, Issac, Jeremiah, Emily, Serenity, Mason, Khloe (Zoe), Jacob, Jolene, Kaylee, Marissa & Nathaniel; and his great grandson Kane. He had 27 Nieces and Nephews. 

His Family & Friends are invited to celebrate David’s life in the way he would want to be remembered, as a man of God who enjoyed life.

Burial will take place on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Santa Fe Memorial Gardens, 417 Rodeo Rd., Santa Fe, NM at 11:00 A.M.
