OBITUARY

Consuelo G. Ortiz, 92, of Santa Fe, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. She was born on October 1, 1929 in Santa Fe, one of nine brothers and sisters, the daughter of Bernardino and Feliz Garcia. She graduated from Loretto Academy and worked for many years for the NM House of Representatives in both secretarial and supervisory positions. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Herman P. Ortiz, and is survived by two daughters, Marta Ortiz of New Mexico and Ann-Therese Ortiz of Philadelphia, PA. Funeral mass will be Wednesday, 6 July 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Albuquerque NM at 11 am with the reception of the body at 1045 am. The address is 562 Atrisco SW, Albuquerque 87105. Interment will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on 7 July 2022 at 930 am.
