Obituary
Bruce Cambridge Sr., age 74, beloved father and grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. He entered this world on September 17, 1947, in Shiprock, NM. Bruce Cambridge Sr. was always surrounded by all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There was never a dull moment when he was around.
He was a body full of jokes and humor, he knew exactly how to please a crowd. As a father and grandfather, he took the role of teaching in every moment he had. He made the quote "You learn something new every day" true. Bruce adored his grandchildren to the fullest, he would spend the little amount of money he had buying popsicles or trying to give it out for gas money. Unfortunately, Bruce had to overcome several challenges in his life, including losing three of his children and his wife, with faith in the Native American Church Bruce continued his way of life to continue to provide for his family and make a living.
Bruce is survived by his daughters, Diane Cambridge, and Carleta Cambridge; sons, Bruce Cambridge Jr., Carl Cambridge, and Travis Cambridge.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life to follow at 12:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Westside. Burial will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park at 1:15 p.m. in Rio Rancho.
