Obituary
After 82 years of love, family, music, and hard work, Jim Lyon, 82, of Albuquerque New Mexico, passed away Monday, April 11, 2022 after battling a lengthy illness.
Jim is survived by his wife, Louise; daughters and spouses, Patricia and Clovis Salcido, Angela and Chris Sadler, and Monica and Douglas Kastman; grandchildren, Jamie Edwards, Brian Sadler, Emma Sadler, Isabel Aragon, and Jared Salcido; one great-granddaughter, Elena Edwards; two brothers; and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his father; mother; and two brothers.
Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Jim managed his illness with strength and grace, and wanted to spend as much time with his loved ones as possible. On his final day, he was surrounded by his wife and daughters, who he adored more than anything else in the world."
A Rosary will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022, 8:15 a.m., with a Mass to follow at 9:00 a.m., at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Community, 5415 Fortuna Rd NW. Please send memorial donations to The Make a Wish Foundation of New Mexico.
