Obituary

Joseph Stanley Sanchez, 82, a lifetime resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on March 5, 2022, with family by his side. He is survived by his spouse of 53 years, Lupe, his son Christian and his wife Monica and their children Noah (6), Mykah (3) and Naya (18 months), His daughter Stacie and her husband Tim and their children Aubrey (23), Eric (19) and Camille (11). Joseph was a proud Veteran and retired Air National Guardsman and a special education teacher later in life. He had a strong spirit and accomplished much despite having many obstacles early in life. Always a protector and provider, family meant everything to him.

He was one of a kind and will be greatly missed.

A mass will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Our Lady of Annunciation Church (2621 Vermont St. NE) at 10:00 am, with a reception to follow (Venue will be announced at church service). Burial will take place at Santa Fe at the National Cemetery at a later date in April.
