Obituary
Sue Armstrong, 79, passed away peacefully in hospice on Monday, January 9, 2022.
Sue is survived by a daughter Laurie, numerous brothers, sisters, nieces & nephews, great nieces, nephews and many, many longtime friends.
Sue was head cheerleader in the first graduating class of St. Pius High School. She graduated from University of Albuquerque with a BSBA in 1978 at the age of 36 as a single mom working full-time. She started out as a bank teller, worked as an Assistant Secretary Treasurer for W.C. Kruger and then became involved with several of her own business entities--the last being as owner of Temp Associates, a temporary employment agency, where she helped numerous people find jobs.
She moved to Las Vegas NV in 1990 where she hosted numerous family reunions and events around her pool giving her family so many wonderful memories. She moved back to Albuquerque in 2013. Sue produced an educational video called "Choices" featuring a young Neil Patrick Harris and it aired on NM PBS and can be found on you tube (Sue Armstrong 1990 - Albq Chamber of Commerce).
Because of Sue's fantastic social skills, she brought the following into the family: Leslie & Jim, Janine, Jim Brown, Jo, Candy, Jim Weber, Walt, Lisa, Don G, etc. (the list goes on and on).
