Obituary

Walter L. Hildabrand, 89, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and friend to many was called to be with his Savior on December 23, 2021.  He entered the world on February 7, 1932 in Elizabeth, NJ, born to Walter and Sarah Hildabrand.  His beloved wife, Marlene Hildabrand preceded Walter in death on January 11, 2017. 

He is survived by his son, Brent Hildabrand; daughter in law, Amanda Hildabrand; granddaughter, Hannah H. Cuellar; grandson Jacob Hildabrand; great granddaughter, Larina Hildabrand all of Virginia; friends and caregivers, Daniel and Margaret Boyce of Albuquerque, NM and numerous other friends and family members. 

Walter served his country in the US Navy from 1950 to 1970 before retiring after twenty years of distinguished service.   He served an additional twenty-five years of government service with the US Postal Service before retiring in 1996.  Walter and Marlene lived out the remainder of their golden years in Albuquerque surrounded by family members, their beloved church family and friends. 

A memorial service will be held on January 11, 2022, 1200 p.m. at French Funeral and Cremations, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87123.
