Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:

Ever watch a dog try to play fetch, drop the ball and then lose interest? Not Roscoe. This extremely smart 7-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix loves fetch. He’ll bring the ball back to you; he’ll bring his leash to you; he’ll probably find your missing car keys and bring them back to you. This handsome, happy guy weighs about 62 pounds and loves other dogs, dog playgroups and dog parks. He also loves attention from people and gets very excited when receiving it. That’s the time to have a toy, practice a trick or even give a job to this boy, like fetch the morning paper from the driveway. Roscoe probably won’t do well left alone in a backyard; between his intelligence and energy he’ll find a way out. If you like the challenge and fun of a smart dog, take a look at Roscoe. If you have other dogs at home, we encourage you to bring them along for a Meet ’n’ Greet.

Roscoe's adoption fee is $60. He is neutered and microchipped and has age-appropriate vaccinations. A licensing/microchip fee may apply.
