OBITUARY
David William Montano, born in Dalhart, TX on May 26, 1953, to Daniel and Beatrice Montano, passed away on October 10, 2021 after battling cancer. David was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Montano and Beatrice Herrera Montano of Tucumcari, NM. David is survived by his sisters, Agnes Wolfe and Joyce Gonzales, both of Albuquerque, NM. They would like to thank his wonderful care team from Kindred Hospice, Bree, Issa, Adriana, and the nurses and staff at Ladera Center, especially Bill and James, for their patience and compassionate care in his final days. David was a 1972 graduate of Tucumcari High School and a proud veteran who served in the Air Force from 1972 to 1974. Committal of ashes will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 9:45 a.m.
