OBITUARY
Maria Ortega age 93, born in Concepcion De Oro, Zacatecas, Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on October 12, 2021. Maria is survived by her sons, Robert Ortega and wife, Jacinta, Carlos Ortega and wife, Elizabeth, Ralph Ortega and wife, Lucy; Three sisters, Carmen Bentley, Margaret Enriquez and husband, Tomas, and Sandra; three brothers, Ramiro Salas and wife, Petra, Jesus Salas, and wife, Verta, Pepe Salas and wife, Lorraine; eleven grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Edward S. Ortega, parents, Felix, and Maria Salas; siblings, Stella Picor, Emma Salas, Mario Salas, Maximo Salas. Services will be held at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church in Old Town on Monday, October 25th, A Rosary will take place that morning at 9:15am with a Mass to follow at 10:00am with burial to take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
