Perea, Gloria Viola
Gloria Viola Perea, 78 was called to our Lord surrounded by family on October 2, 2021. Born September 9, 1943, in Albuquerque, NM to Espiridion and Julia Montoya. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Antonia Benavidez and Mary Griego. She is survived by her children, Carmen, Alfred, Albert, Daniel and wife, Jessica, Anthony and wife, Tanya; grandchildren, Ray, Nicole, Isiah, Jude, Selena, Gabriella, and Maya; great grandchildren, Jeramiah, Nevaeh, and Raymond; brother, Joe and wife, Mary Montoya; sisters, Connie Bailey, Tommie Jaramillo and husband, Telesfore, Mary Helen Giddings and husband, John. Gloria retired from General Electric in 2008 after 39 years and enjoyed her retirement visiting some of her favorite casinos. Gloria had a beautiful spirit and a kind heart. She loved her family, friends and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will held on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 309 Stover Ave. SW. A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 am with a Mass to follow at 10:00 am. An inurnment service will be held at a later date.
