Embark on a journey of discovery this Mother’s Day at the ABQ BioPark Zoo on Sunday, May 12. A variety of live local music acts will be performing at seven areas throughout the Zoo, starting at 9 a.m. at the Flamingo Gazebo. The event promises not only entertainment but also educational opportunities. "Visitors can venture through the Zoo and encounter a world of wonder at various Discovery Stations," where "BioPark volunteers will be stationed throughout the Zoo ready to share captivating insights into the intricate world of mothering strategies in the animal kingdom."

For those interested in animal care and conservation, "Dive deeper into the world of animal care and conservation with BioPark Connections." The Zoo’s educators and animal care staff will provide exclusive insights into efforts to protect and preserve wildlife and their habitats.

In addition to the music and educational experiences, attendees can enjoy refreshments and activities. "There will be a Bloody Mary Bar and loaded Mimosas for purchase for those 21+ and free face painting for those of all ages." Food options will be available at the Cottonwood Café and various snack bars, with the opportunity for picnics. Brunch options can also be purchased in advance from the Cottonwood Café.
